Instrument Technical Description and Major Specifications (This Specifications Limited to Major 5)

§  Measurement Range: BET analyzers typically have a specified range for surface area measurements, expressed in square meters per gram (m²/g). The range can vary depending on the instrument

Measurement/Sample specifications:

§  Sample should be 0.1g if the expected surface area is high

§  0.5g if if the expected surface area is low.

Type of Sample Required for Analysis / Testing (Quantity, Pre-Preparation, State etc.) Guidelines for Sample Submission – User Instructions

·         Powders: Fine powders and particulate materials, including pharmaceutical powders, pigments, and metal powders, can be analyzed to determine their specific surface area and porosity.

·         Liquid N2 should be brought by the user, otherwise an additional 50 rupees will be charged for it per sample.
